The Future of The Moéstrom

Posted January 1st, 2010 by ETERNAL

Hey, guess what? I actually like this place.

I haven’t made many posts here since I started two months ago, but just as I had hoped, I like the feeling of having a sideblog to post insubstantial things. Since I have no intention of letting this detract from my main blog, the posts might continue to lack any sort of schedule, but I hope that they will make an entertaining destination for my handful of subscribers and those of you who visit from Twitter. Incidentally, I’ll probably turn the image posts into a weekly feature, putting up something or the other every Friday, and I’ll use the rest of the week to comment on whatever comes to mind.

At any rate, this blog will probably be around for a while, and I hope that it earns a chuckle from time to time (or at least a new saved image). Let 2010 begin!

Easier to blog this way I think. Writing is tough. Glad you’re staying :)

Also, check out moggling. That style of blogging is kinda cool, though I think that one has sort of died.

Before I had a serious case of blog perfectionism, wherein only Super Perfect posts would go on the main blog, and all other not so perfect stuff would go elsewhere…that probably contributed to blog burnout. But now I’d like to have everything in one place, so I guess it’s now the end of my nomadic era.

@ Ryan: Moggling looks pretty interesting. It’s a shame he quit, it would have made a nice light addition to a fairly heavy subscription list.

@ lelangir: I know what you mean, although thankfully I’ve managed to avoid that so far. Putting all of your writing in one place makes for a messy archive, but sometimes it’s worth it.

Anyway, you know you have more than a few eager subscribers if you ever decide to blog again :D
